The range of the this smokey haze is pretty amazing. The smoke is coming from forest fires in tinder dry northern Quebec and Ontario. (see the related news brief.) We’ve gotten calls this morning from Ottawa, St. Lawrence County, throughout the Adirondacks to as far south as Lake George Village, … it seems to be everywhere today. Including in the hallways here at NCPR. We were sent a couple of amazing photographs the CBC has posted at its website. But we’d love a good photo of the smokey day from your vantage point, urban or rural. Please e-mail any good digital images to [email protected] Many thanks! And check back this afternoon for All Before Five for more news.
