You are making it happen, doing your part to help us get to our $320,000 goal by 8 pm. Gotta share a message we had earlier today from an older listener who said she had listened to us for years but not until recently had she come to understand how important it is to contribute to the station. I think she was saying a couple of things: the station is worth supporting because of the programs we air, and making a gift to the station has an impact on our community. When you give to NCPR, you are engaged in a direct act of community building, and in building community pride.

Thanks to everyone who has this notion figured out and has made a contribution. It’s a really nice way to spend money. You and everyone else within earshot gets payback for months to come. It’s a great story.
