Gouverneur Day 4

Yes, this is going to take weeks, but who’s counting?  Anyway, I visited the site Wednesday to prepare the wood telephone pole which will be part of our National Grid electrical hookup and found that Tim from TMT construction did a really spectacular job in backfilling/grading the site.  It would be a great spot for a softball game or staff picnic, except for the tower and guy wires which will be (hopefully) in the way!  Here’s Jerry at the central pier (remember all the mess from day 2?)

Jerry and company spent most of the day picking up the steel tower sections… aren’t they beautiful?

But NO chicken fat!
