On the road: Paonia

What? You’ve never heard of Paonia? Okay, it’s not in NYS, or Vermont, or southern Ontario. It’s in Colorado.
A bit of downtown Paonia.
Last week, I visited a wonderful community station there, KVNF. General Manager Sally Kane had invited me out to lead a conversation–with station staff and board members–about expanding local news coverage.

Ellen, did you happen to catch Jonathan Brown on air while you were within earshot of Colorado Public Radio?
Jonathan is now Colorado Public Radio’s Morning Edition host. I listened, briefly, but didn’t hear him.
