On the road: Clayton

On Friday evening, the Clayton Opera House hosted a benefit for the North Country Children’s Clinic. Our good friend Cathy Pircsuk, manager of television station WWNY, chaired the organizing committee and asked me to attend.

The Clayton Opera House has become a hub of cultural and community activity in the last few years. A dedicated group of people raised the money to completely refurbish the structure and sustain a professional staff. I had an opportunity to meet Lisa Reiss, the newly hired Executive Director.
