Apprentice Billy McNamara, team boss Bill Knoble (looks a little worn out by the young help), and apprentice Pierre Nzuah.
In an earlier post, I introduced you to Pierre Nzuah, our summer farm apprentice from Cameroon who is attending Canton College. Pierre stays in touch with his life in Africa through the miracle of the internet. From time to time, he shares with us photos of family, friends, his country. This past week, we’ve been mesmerized, more than once, by a python hunting technique used in Cameroon. Pierre explained it to us–we couldn’t believe we were understanding him correctly–and then he found this video of the process. By the way, the python is a food source in Cameroon.
All In is a place for everyone who works at NCPR to share behind the scenes activity, and surprising, curious, lovely or distinctly local tidbits from our travels around the region. We’ll post the best of what we find online, too. From time to time, you may hear from others—if you’d like to write an entry, send it to [email protected]. What makes this place what it is? How do we connect to each other and the world? That’s what ALL IN is all about.
