Adirondack Community Trust Executive Director Cali Brooks and I were on the road yesterday, visiting friends of the station and ACT in the Essex area and in Lake Placid.
We had a great lunch with Peter Paine, complete with a regional history lesson, along the shores of Lake Champlain.

North Country Public Radio is housed in Canton, in a building managed and largely occupied by the Canton-Potsdam Hospital. We are grateful for our digs. However, ACT is located in a small house on the Heaven Hill property in Lake Placid. The location is very aptly named:

Adirondack Community Trust headquarters at Heaven Hill.
ACT and NCPR are about to embark on a major collaborative project that will expand and enhance the region’s access to news and information. More details to follow soon.
