Need to know

It might be the latest story from our Adirondack News Bureau, or a report on a proposed town/village merger in St. Lawrence County; it might be details about a concert in Clayton or Plattsburgh, or a play being produced in Saranac Lake or Gananoque. Where do you find out about what’s going on? What are your sources and what platforms–print, broadcast, digital–do you use to get the news and information you want and need? We’re running our survey on rural information access and needs for one more weekend. If you haven’t responded yet, please take a few minutes to fill it out here — just click on the survey monkey icon in the right hand column.

This survey is being used as a baseline scan of community news and information needs as we get ready to implement activities funded by the Adirondack Community Trust through a grant from the Knight Foundation. How can we best address 21st century information and news needs across the Adirondack North Country?
