2014 garden growing right now

Here is a series of photos taken during the past week by Monkton, Vermont gardener Cassandra Corcoran–at the same time food is being harvested, seed for next year’s garden is being gathered, sifted, dried and stored.

Keep those photos of your garden coming my way: [email protected] and let me know what’s done really well this year, what’s not enjoying the cooler, wetter weather. I’ve picked a total of 6 ripe tomatoes from three dozen plants. Lots of hot peppers, some sweet peppers and eggplant. Tons of corn!
