Radio is the most visual of media…
That’s something you hear a lot in radio. Usually it’s in the mode of getting us producers to describe the appearance of things in our scripts so listeners can get a good sense of scene in what’s (obviously) a pretty aural medium. But things are changing, and for those of us who are visually as well as aurally inclined, there are more and more chances to put our non-radio loves out into the North Country Public Radio world.
In my case, that means that you all get to share in one of my great non-radio joys: Driving around in the country, looking for interesting stuff. I’ve only recently gotten into really using the lovely camera my delightful husband and mother got me for my birthday last year, but it’s already yielded some nice photos. One thing I like about these is that although they’re all quite different, they’re all real North Country scenes, taken within a short drive of one another.
So here are a few–enjoy!
Very nice. Keep sharing with those of us too far away to take these drives in person.
