We gathered last night to send Jonathan Brown off to his new job at Colorado Public Radio–very mixed feelings. We hate to lose Jonathan’s charm and style on our evening news programs (listeners have loved his hosting talent on “All Before Five” and “All Things Considered), but we also know Jonathan is embarking on a wonderful new position as host of “Morning Edition” for CPR.
We’ll keep you posted on Jonathan’s progress and success. After today, if you want to send a message to him, we’ll forward your greetings sent to [email protected].

Jonathan, it’s been a real pleasure listening to you report and host over these past few years. I’ve truly enjoyed working together too.
For sure, yours is a sad departure.
On the other hand, if no one ever moved or tried new things….there would be a lot of missed adventures, eh?
