During the past few days, I was at a conference for nonprofit organizations at the Blue Mountain Center; gave a talk about regional food, with TAUNY’s Jill Breit, at the Crandall Library Folklife Center in Glens Falls; and visited station friends in Keene Valley. Took a picture of this regional icon:

Forget gorp and dried fruit, every mountaineer I know swears by the pies at the Noon Mark Diner in Keene Valley.
