QOTD: Will there be any savings?

We “Spring ahead” an hour to Daylight Savings Time this weekend. This practice began in an official way during the First World War. The resulting “extra” hour of light in the evening was supposed to aid productivity. Thanks G.V. Hudson for proposing the idea first in 1895, and too bad, morning people.

Today’s question of the Day:

Which is better, springing ahead, falling back, or should we just stop messing with the clock?

I would prefer they left it alone. Their jamming my Chi.

I enjoy the long evening light, and often stay out there working until dark. In the fall, when we lose that hour, it makes me feel like hibernating. Our local Amish communities don’t change their clocks, and it doesn’t seem to hurt them…

I think this is one of the dumbest laws ever passed.
Let’s see if I get this right. We need extra daylight when there is extra daylight but we need less daylight when there is less daylight?
This is but one of the absurd examples of humans trying to play god.
And no, I don’t play golf – so there!
Last time I swung a stupid golf club was when I was 13.
Excessive amount of daylight is the main reason I never moved to Alaska.
