Rabies fight takes to the air

Once again this summer, the US Department of Agriculture is dropping thousands of bait pellets in the North Country laced with oral rabies vaccine.

The fishmeal cube baits will be dropped from helicopters across northern New York, in an effort to stop the spread of racoon rabies.
