McHugh concerned over war fatigue, says Army is ready to end “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell”

Former North Country Congressman–now Secretary of the United States Army–John McHugh is the subject of a wide ranging interview by the Army Times.

Published Sunday, the interview touches on a number of issues familiar to most who tune in to NCPR news, including the strains of war on service members and their families.

A column on the Huffington Post blog focuses on McHugh’s comments in the interview about the policy on gays in the military, “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell.”

In this column, McHugh reportedly says that if Congress and the President decide to end the policy, the military is ready to end it, as well.
