Conservative Doug Hoffman’s campaign just sent out a press advisory that he’ll be at two events in Plattsburgh today, shortly before the debate at SUNY Plattsburgh.
Hoffman will visit his campaign HQ at 10:30 am, where he’ll conduct interviews, then he’ll make a campaign stop at McSweeney’s Red Hots for a noon “meet and greet.”
Organizers of tonight’s forum have left the door open for Mr. Hoffman to make a last minute decision to join the conversation.
We have a “green room” ready for him on campus; we have seating arranged for his campaign staff and family; we have a podium for him on stage.
All Mr. Hoffman has to do is show up.
The question is very simple:
If you have time to go to a meet and greet at McSweeney’s Red Hots, why not take time to debate your opponents in this race?
