Giuliani claims Bill Owens voted No on healthcare

In an interview with CNN’s John King (watch here), former NYC Mayor Rudy Giuliani claims to know the NY-23 district intimately.

But then he claims that Rep. Bill Owens voted against the Democratic healthcare reform bill.

Nope. Owens voted Yes on the bill, a decision which has drawn fire from the RNC.

Giuliani slams Sarah Palin for intervening in the NY-23 race by endorsing Conservative Doug Hoffman.

“That’s a district where we could elect a Republican if we get our act together,” he said.
