News 10 Now is reporting Conservative Doug Hoffman will not challenge the results of the 23rd district’s special election, essentially closing the books on the race that gave the North Country a place in the national spotlight and gave Democrat Bill Owens a seat in Congress.
Hoffman spokesman Rob Ryan did leave a bit of wiggle room, though, saying “never say never and wait for a full statement coming later this week.”
Last week, Hoffman accused ACORN, unions, and Democrats of vote tampering, but the campaign has yet to offer evidence.
