Day 4 Silliness

Today (Thursday) is day 4 of our spring membership drive/ fundraiser.

Listeners and web surfers of ncpr.org (that’s you or if you read out loud “That’s Me! and lots of other people”) are really coming through–donating the money we need to keep the station and this web site pumping.

And this allows us–at moments–to get a little giddy. Or, if you prefer, silly.

Martha Foley (our intrepid news director and that wonderful morning voice on the Eight O’clock Hour) is on the air right now, talking about some of the great “Thank You” gifts donors can claim after pitching in to the kitty.

Martha’s sporting two of these gifts (easily spotted in this photo): the NCPR ball cap and the pocket flashlight.

Martha’s (clearly) all in for this membership drive. Now, it’s your turn. You don’t have to go all in, but we hope you will pitch in.
