The National Weather Service issued a flood watch for the region starting tomorrow, Thursday, September 30th, running through Friday morning.
Weather Service meteorologists are tracking a storm moving up the Atlantic Seaboard:
A low pressure area will develop off the southeastern U.S. today… And then move northward through the Mid Atlantic states on Thursday. This low will bring abundant tropical moisture northward Into Vermont and northern New York Thursday and Thursday night.
The forecast calls for two to four inches of rain Thursday night.
