The Glens Falls Post Star‘s Maury ThompsonĀ looks at the Republican Party’s campaign to re-establish itself in the North Country.
“This is the prime rib of Republicanism up here – without a doubt,” said Saratoga County Republican Chairman John “Jasper” Nolan, speaking at a rally at the Corinth fire department.
But, in the 20th Congressional District, Republican candidates have lost the past three consecutive races – 2006, 2008 and the March 2009 special election.
