Eek! It’s snowing in Saranac Lake

You tell yourself you’re ready.  You tell yourself that after a summer this long and luxurious, it’s time to pull out the long johns.

But then the rain turns to slushy snow and it’s still a shock…

    Good! I hope we make it down to minus 50 this winter – but without too much snow and no rain or freezing ran.

    Fantastic. I love getting all the phone calls about the snow here at the radio station in SL. Just heard from a guy in Vermontville that the Franklin highway department is already plowing — apparently it’s snowing hard out there…

    The plow is off the truck for weld repair.

    Brilliant! Saranac wins the first of winter award, that’s why its a great place for the winter fest. Much to do before it arrives in Cape Vincent, must get to work!
