NCPR’s newest analyst

Unless you heard the crunch of dried pea pods, you wouldn’t have known that our news team was joined by a third analyst this morning.
Olivia Alice Sommerstein made her debut with us this morning, during our conversation looking at the context and implications of North Country results in Tuesday’s voting.
She took time out on her way to day care co-op to join me, David Sommerstein, and Brian Mann as we considered whether Conservative Doug Hoffman was or wasn’t a spoiler in the 23rd CD, whether there’s a future for Democrats in the 20th CD after Chris Gibson’s energetic defeat of Scott Murphy, whether the North Country wins or loses with a new Republican state senator, and other gritty — dare I say crunchy? — questions.
