Lace up, Skaters! It opens Saturday morning!

I just saw this from the NCC, the agency that runs Ottawa’s Rideau Canal Skateway:

A 2.4 km section of the Rideau Canal Skateway will be open at 8 am to the general public, from the Bank Street Bridge to the Pretoria Bridge.

Here is the official website that gives info about when the canal is open or closed and the condition of the ice. Conditions do change with fluctuations in weather and temperature, so it’s a good idea to check all that out before making the trip.
