Favorite headline of the week, maybe the year

I know we’re still in January, but this headline from the Plattsburgh Press-Republican might just have sticking power as my favorite attention-getter of 2011:

“Pot-bellied pig the perfect pet for local man”

[Todd] Farrell’s decision to take in a pet pot-bellied pig has become a responsibility that he cherishes and takes seriously.

“When I first heard about him, I thought, ‘What a perfect pet for me,'” Farrell said from his Redford home recently as he talked about his decision to bring the unusual pet into his life.
