Park Agency commissioner Cecil Wray convened the APA’s monthly meeting a short time ago in Ray Brook, but he quickly made clear that he is not the new chairman, either interim or permanent.
Which means that Governor Andrew Cuomo still hasn’t tipped his hand to how the agency will move forward now that Curt Stiles has stepped aside.
As NCPR has reported, the regional zoning agency for the Adirondack Park now lacks a chair and has five seats that are either empty, or held by individuals serving expired terms.
The agency plans to take up the historic Adirondack Club and Resort project in Tupper Lake in November. All sides say they hope new leadership will be in place by then.
