Couple killed in Indian Lake fire

The Glens Falls Post-Star is reporting that an elderly couple died this morning in a fire that destroyed their home. The fire that killed the couple, whose names haven’t been officially released yet, was reported about 3:45 this morning. They were both in their 70s.

Indian Lake fire chief Paul Strain said firefighters arrived to find the mobile home, on a remote dead-end road, was engulfed in flames — the home collapsed, and Strain says his department is still investigating the cause of the fire.
