Happy weekend, North Country! Some new for your Friday afternoon:

Paul Smith’s professor Curt Stager (co-conspirator on NCPR’s Natural Selections) was named N.Y. college professor of the year by the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching and the Council for Advancement and Support of Education.

St. Lawrence county may have figured out a solution to its trash problem, WWNY reports.

A SUNY Canton fraternity, Zeta Alpha Phi, has been suspended following an alleged hazing incident. The Watertown Daily Times reports the college is keeping quiet about what exactly happened.

What are you doing this balmy, sunny weekend? Let us know in the comments. I’m organizing my house and hoping to get outside while it’s warm. Martha Foley spent the past few ones processing grapes!
