RNC stands by Dede

An article over the weekend in Politico suggested that Republican leaders in Washington are convinced that Dede Scozzafava still has a path to victory in the NY-23 special election.

To that end, they’re spending big in this final week:

The NRCC plans to spend between $200,000 and $300,000 on TV ads in the final week-and-a-half of the campaign. The ads will focus on Owens and Scozzafava and will not mention Hoffman.

That’s a lot of 30 second radio spots…
