Update: Hoffman chooses Beck, Hannity over debate

Jude Seymour is reporting in the Watertown Daily Times that Doug Hofman is bagging the debate tonight in order to appear on two national radio television programs.

The first is a radio show hosted by Sean Hannity, the Fox News personality; the second is the TV show hosted by Glenn Beck, also on Fox.

This comes on a day when his rival, Republican Dede Scozzafava, held a teleconference to deride the Conservative and Democrat Bill Owens for not participating in enough (any?) debates.

One other footnote: In this race, at least, Fox appears to be disproving the White House notion that Fox and its personalities represent the PR wing of the Republican Party.
