This blog has attracted a lot of attention from readers/posters from outside the North Country. All are welcome.

We love hearing debate and argument — even passionate ones.

But this is a small-town, rural area. The people who read this blog are neighbors and friends, even when we disagree about politics.

So, to one and all: keep it civil. Make arguments. It’s not enough to drop left- or right-wing talking points.

Think out loud, yes. But think. And treat the other people who come here with respect, whatever their political stripe.
