House in the Adirondacks

The latest episode of the popular Fox TV medical drama “House” is supposedly set in the Adirondacks.

The lead character, sort of an acerbic Sherlock Holmes MD, travels to the ‘Dacks for a medical conference and a muddled romance.

Sadly, as is often the case, the episode is filmed…elsewhere.

That ain’t Lake George looking great in the background. That’s Lake Arrowhead, California. Sigh.
