Proposed Tupper Lake company wins state grant

This from Governor David Paterson’s office:

$76,500 for Adirondack Woodsman’s Pellet Company (AWP), LLC, in Long Lake, which will work with timber harvesters and employ sustainable harvest practices as it seeks to start up a wood pellet manufacturing facility in Tupper Lake.

The award will allow AWP to develop a business plan enabling them to engage potential investors and become a significant employer in the region.
