The other side of G20 unrest in Toronto?

This video is making the rounds today.  Hard to tell exactly what’s going on, but it appears to be a peaceful protest that the police are charging.

Here’s another overhead view of the same incident. Hard to see how singing O Canada! could warrant this kind of police action.

Toronto Mayor David Miller has defended the police’s behavior during the protest marches and is leveling blame at Ottawa for the unrest.

Hat tip to the Daily Beast website, where I found these videos.

Well, those hippies started sitting down with their backs to the police seemed to be a pretty good reason to charge them.

I didn’t know Toronto was a police state.

Thanks for the post Brian. So you see why I distrust the MSM coverage of these types of events?

I know everyone is busy but take the time to check out the reporting from DemocracyNow today. http://www.democracynow.org/

Some of the things pointed out:

Media report that this kind of violence doesn’t happen in Canada but after a Stanley Cup win 16 police cars were burned.

A police car was burned at this protest and was not put out so that media could film it burning.

Oh just follow the link…and bookmark the site.
