We’re expecting a new Siena poll within the hour to measure the Scott Murphy-Chris Gibson race in the 20th House district.
Meanwhile, the Washington Post is reporting that Karl Rove’s “American Crossroads” project will launch ads tomorrow targeting the Democrat.
Beginning tomorrow, American Crossroads will launch ads against Democratic Reps. Heath Shuler (N.C.), Sanford Bishop (Ga.) and Scott Murphy (N.Y.) and continue their ad campaign against Rep. Maurice Hinchey (N.Y) and in support of Rep. Charles Djou (R-Hawaii).
Rove’s project has been controversial this year, for its use of anonymous and secret donors to fuel its campaign ads.
Murphy and Gibson debated the ethics of secret campaign donors during their debate last week in Troy.
