The Plattsburgh Press-Republican is reporting that this spring’s rains have also triggered a big slide in the Adirondack hamlet of Keeseville, which straddles the Clinton-Essex county line.
“The whole mountain is sliding,” Chesterfield Town Supervisor Gerald Morrow said. “I don’t think anything is ever going to stop it.”
One rental home has been wrecked by the slide. This follows devastating slides in Moriah and Keene Valley.
