NY-23: AP, YNN-TV say Doheny wins, no concession from Hoffman

(Saranac Lake, 12:15pm)

As Jonathan points out, AP has already called the race for Doheny.

Doheny was interviewed a short time ago by YNN television in Watertown.

He essentially claimed victory, though he acknowledged that “every vote needs to be counted.”

Obviously, these are unofficial results, so NCPR won’t call the race one way or another.

I just spoke with a member of Doug Hoffman’s team here in Saranac Lake. No word yet on when he might speak, or what he might say.

  1. MAtthew says:

    Its over baby! Doheny wins!!!!

  2. Matt has worked harder, understands what district-23 is about! Doug was never visable except maybe in his neck of the woods, didn’t even consider debating in the north country region and basically tried to earn the nomination on last year’s race with Owens. Obviously voters want someone who is willing to put the effort in to be visable and listen to people’s concerns. Matt will beat Owens because Owens is tied to Obama, Pelosi, Reid and there time is OVER!!! Do the right thing Doug and support Matt and put an end to Obama’s legislation by getting Owens out of Washington.
