Adirondack town of Jay needs volunteers for manual labor

The Plattsburgh Press Republican is reporting that the town of Jay needs manual laborers and they’ve offered instructions for how you can pitch in.

The Town of Jay Supervisor’s Office is seeking volunteers to help those still in need of manual labor.  Jobs would include moving items out of people’s basements, packaging, shoveling mud out of cellars and more.  People who are interested in helping are asked to contact the Town of Jay Supervisor’s Office at 647-2204 or 647-2201 as soon as possible. Leave your name and number for a list being compiled to help residents.
