Every year, hundreds of paddlers race for three days from Old Forge to Saranac Lake, passing through some of the Adirondack Park’s wildest and most beautiful country. NCPR intern and Hamilton College student Julia Ferguson made the trip last weekend, with fellow student Annie Emanuels. Here’s Julia’s photo album from the trip.

Kind of unfortunate this blog has kind of died out. I like that there’s a lot less blog entries about generic national issues (I’d rather go to NPR for those) but I miss the many local themed discussions we’d get.
