USDA Designates 14 Counties in New York as Primary Natural Disaster Areas

This news came in this mid-afternoon–it’s good news for the North Country after a lot of bad news.

Here’s the jist of it: Fourteen New York Counties—including several in our area—have been designated primary natural disaster areas after the this spring’s flooding and cold weather. Residents of those and contiguous counties may be eligible for USDA aid.
